A young boy came running up to us in the park two weeks ago to say "That is the most beautiful dog in the whole world." Obviously a kid with good taste.

After last weeks training fail, on my part, we've been working on a "competition heel". I tried the toy method and the food method, neither of which I seemed to do correctly. But I am finding that she will keep the correct position for praise and chin scratches.

On none Dutch Shepherd side, the Jack Russel/Beagle mix won the "oldest dog" award, and the vet said he was the healthiest 18 year old she's seen. Old, but healthy.

I always chuckle inside when I spot a Labrador owner head out on the water with their dog sporting a life jacket, but now I see there's at least one good reason to outfit a naturally strong swimmer this way.

sadie just LOVES the water but I cant get her into the pool. she does not like going down the steps. we have plenty of streams around but It would be great to just go in the pool.

She has a life jacket too. 8-)

Rogue used to jump on the unsuspected sleeping person with a full leap and kiss attack any morning she could be on the loose. It was so bad that whoever was up with her would yell, “ Fur Missle” to alert the fool who didn’t get up to take Rogue out, vs staying snuggly in bed.
Now she’s a bit more polite. She just kisses the hell out of my face and neck. She’s not penned up at night anymore and I’m always surprised by this. 🤪
