Tell us about yourself: Living in Austin, Texas with our two dogs Zoey(DS) and Tripper(lab mix). In college, I worked as a Handler and Assistant Manager of a training and daycare facility for 3 years where I've handled many working dogs. For the past 2 years I have been training Zoey and we have made some tremendous progress together. We just took in a second dutchie for foster. His name is Henry and he is 7 months old approximately. He is a big loving male pup with lots of hugs to give. We will be training him up for his forever home. If this is still in my bio he is still available.

Not sure on that specific one, I doubt it. I run across lots a trapper cabins, old ranch cabins, Indian villages and such on my travels. We were up in the Gang Ranch of B.C., which is a massive cattle ranch, I think at one point in time it was the largest in N.America, been around before 1900. Lots of history and open ranges, nice place to camp for a long weekend.

Happy Birthday Foxy! That's a nice looking cake and a happy looking dog! She is a pretty dog. There are some amazing pictures in here, beautiful scenery. There's a picture from June of Foxy sitting on a big log in front of the water, shadow on her front, that made me think of The Littlest Hobo, at the very end of the show at the last part of the credits The Littlest Hobo is standing on a big log in front of the water and then sits down. I had a flashback to that, but I don't think anyone on here will know what show I'm talking about (unless they're also an older person from Canada) lol

Tell us about yourself: Apparently I just adopted a Dutch Shepherd. My experience have been with Dalmatians. The shelter listed her as a 3 year old Dutch Shepherd, which truthfully I didn't even know was a breed. I picked her because she is so sweet and energetic. But looking at the forum, I'm wondering if I might have taken on more than I will be able to handle. I did reach out to s DS rescue and they say she does appear to be a DS. But so far she's a joy and though not trained is catching on quickly.

She's beautiful...reminds me of a painted wolf.
