Tell us about yourself: I am a retired UK police dog handler / instructor. I have owned and worked many German Shepherds, Malinois however in 2016 I imported the first Ruwhaar or Rough Coat Dutch Herder into the UK. In 2018 I imported a male to compliment my female and on the 14th of May 2019 the first ever litter of Ruwhaar Dutch Herders were born in the UK.

This photo was taken in 2001 in Texas USA of my friend and his new police dog. It was the first time I had ever encountered a Dutch Herder.

Nice - you definitely don't want to be on the wrong end of that dog.
