This photo was taken in 2001 in Texas USA of my friend and his new police dog. It was the first time I had ever encountered a Dutch Herder.

- Tell us about yourself: I am a retired UK police dog handler / instructor. I have owned and worked many German Shepherds, Malinois however in 2016 I imported the first Ruwhaar or Rough Coat Dutch Herder into the UK. In 2018 I imported a male to compliment my female and on the 14th of May 2019 the first ever litter of Ruwhaar Dutch Herders were born in the UK.
