February 2019 Theme - Open

Post by centrop67 »

The theme for this month is open, which usually means you can enter your favorite photo. However, given that Valentines Day happens this month, you might want to self-impose a theme of love to your entry - just sayin'.

I also need to add a reminder of the rules:
1. Photo must have a DS in it.
2. One photo only.
3. You must own the rights to the photo entered (Pictures with a photo-studio tag make me nervous).
4. 1st post wins ties.

To enter upload your photo to this thread or emai/DM me the entry. Please include the name of the DS and your member name if you email or DM me an entry.

Good luck.

Love picture as an example:

For a little clarification on the "Photo Studio Tag" comment...

When the photo contains a watermark - yes, that's the word I was looking for yesterday but couldn't remember it - it generally means the photographer or studio is asserting an ownership claim. That can be a copyright issue when shared to social media.

You may have permission to share the photo with a watermark, and that's okay. Just make sure.

If I'm ever asked to take down a watermarked photo, I will without hesitation. That's probably as far is it will go, but who needs the hassle?

Tell us about yourself: We live in California and currently have two dogs. Mallory is 9 and a rescue she is german shepherd/rottie. We also have a 10 month old german/Dutch that we got at the age of 4 weeks. He was abandoned and very sick. After 15 weeks of antibiotics and 2000 in vet bills he is our baby. He has passed the CGC certification and the Advanced CGC. He is currently doing protection training right next to our city’s finest canines. We never heard of the Dutch breed until our little Tucker came into our lives and we are so happy he has.
