We have strong winds and a fire in the next city. Rogue is scared. It didn't help that when I took her outside and she felt the strong wind for the first time, and can smell fire, that as soon as we stepped out the basket ball hoop fell ft away from us. she wouldn't take a brake (pee) or get a drink. She ran to the corner of the yard and shook. I had to carry her inside. She would not follow my lead or tugs or coaxing. She would move only so far to then retreat. She is inside now. I did let her see me touch the hoop and drew her near before coming in. She has water in her pen now. I also left the blinds open so she can see the wind blowing leaves and the tarp around. Any other tips? I will take her out again later.

She is not liking the blinds open. She is in the corner of her ex-pen. Not shaking. I offered her treats and she was hesitant but would look at me briefly and take the treat.

I think I will have the blinds slightly open. No need to frighten her
