Just a medical question for DS

I saw my puppy is getting a "deep" chest. Dutch shepherds have a deep chest according to the description of the breed online. Are they more prone to gastric bloat? Many articles say online that if dogs have a deep chest then they can get gastric bloat easier? I think it is a condition in which the stomach and intestines twist around not letting food or gas pass.:huh:

yes, I would be wary of bloat on any dog.

I believe the conventional wisdom regarding prevention is no heavy activity (running, jumping, playing) at least 30 minutes before or after eating. Reminds me of the old days when our parents told us we'd cramp up if we didn't wait before swimming after eating.
