Very hoarse bark

Post by Jurisdoctor »

Just wondering. My 6 month old DS has, for the entire time I have had her (~5 months), had a very "hoarse" (for lack of a better term) bark. It wasn't until recently that I really realized its different from most I see. Have been to vet, but she never had to occasion to bark and I never had the occasion to bring it up. She does bark a lot -- could she just be straining her voice box? Bark box?

No issues with breathing, eating, exercising, energy etc. Thanks.

Thanks!

That is an odd bark - still sounds like a puppy, and she is still a puppy.

I think it's probably a good idea to mention it to your vet on the next visit.
