mondioring
Two pups of our first litter, 1,5 years old, have accidentally met at the local mondio-ring trainingfield
This is them:
(A)Xana and (A)Toyon
Toyon has started in IPO, and was best in the tracking part. They decided to stick with that, and met a few people while doing so. Toyon is their first dog. These people asked them to join their mondioring group, and Toyon and his owner LOVE this sport!
Whilst training their a visitor came, also with a DS, thay looked familiar, and turns out is was sister Xana Now they both train at this club, where they really take their time and train in a well substantiated way, they discuss stuff, and work from there. And keep in mind the age and drives of each individual dog, ideal for a DS! Not always the same routines, it get's boring! I think it looks pretty well
On this German homepage you will find three photoalbums, the 2nd and 3rd contain pictures of Xana (female) and Toyon (male). They are the only DS there, so you will find them

- Tell us about yourself: I am in New York State. Got my first DS about 14 years ago (more or less as a rescue- lost her in Nov.). After years of GSD's, and a few dogs of other breeds (Rotti/Beauceron/Ger. Shorthaired Pointer/ Yorkie and my current Jack Russell) I now have another DS, 4mo female, no name yet, tho I have a few in mind.
Also have a horse-old quarter horse mare-32.
Can't wait for all the snow to get gone! Spring is coming too slow this year! - Location: Corinth, New York

Beautiful, so funny to have found each other like that.

- Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.
Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!
I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences. - Location: Victoria BC
Re: mondioring
How cool!
We accidently bumped into Sugars sister when they were almost a year old...it was pretty cute to see the similarities. And they had said they had come across another one of their litter mates another time.

- Tell us about yourself: I have a small kennel breeding working line Dutch Shepherds, and just stumbled on this forum while browsing the internet. We train our dogs in police K9 work primarily, with hopes of being able to compete in the near future.
