Tell us about yourself: My name is Ellie. I have a 4.5 yo Dutch shepherd (?) named Freya. She is smart, loyal, and pretty darn cute.

What do you think?

I did a post over in the welcome area but here are a few more pictures of Freya. The shelter didn't really know what she was, though they listed her as a shepherd cattle dog mix. Her last vet check put her in at 62 lbs, and her shoulders are just over my 5'7" knee height. Freya is the same height and length as our lab x staffy but he is much wider (at 79 lbs). She has very expressive ears. Personality-wise she is smart, tough, sweet, and tireless. We've always told people that we think she is a Dutch Shepherd but since we got her from the shelter we can't be sure.

The brindle pattern is amazing, but something about the head size and shape seems to point to possibly something else.

Absolutely gorgeous dog.
