Rainy day friends.

Post by Lauren »

We have been rained in for 2 days in a row now. As a gardener I LOVE the rain, but it sure is hard to be cooped up like this! I am used to being outside all day long!

Little Miss Xena is taking it a bit better than I am and it has finally come to a strange alliance. :D She and Edward (aka Captain Adorable) are now a pack. :P

Here's a classic Xena trick... Pretend to be asleep so you won't kicK her off of the couch!

The rain here is driving all my guys crazy, too.

Somebody know how to stretch out. They look so comfortable together in the first photo. Where did your poodle go?

Apollo is really not that much of a snuggler. He was there because I had been sitting there. The cats all like him, but he could really take it or leave it...

He will hardly ever let Xena snuggle with him though she tries so hard to appease him, ears flat, licky face, tip toeing with that little flutter wag... Nothing seems to charm him....

awww, they look so cute! I love how peaceful they look when they sleep. We had rain today too, the girls were fairly quiet but more rain tomorrow so who knows how they will be.

Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.

Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!

I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences.
