Very cool pictures!
I don't know a ton about Jimmy's breeding program. Can you share some accomplishments of the parents? Are they working dogs? Show dogs? Just very stable dogs?
Congrats!

Hi Christine,
here ( but in french) the description of the breeding.
It's a real mix of pure working line with conformation too and well balance temper.

Mother :

DEMON DE VAN EULONE– LOF 1180/241 - Cotation 1 - TC - Dysplasie B

father :

EOLE DES CROCS DE L'OLYMPE - LOF 2410/354 – CACS Nationale d'élevage 2011 - brevet ring - HD A/A – TC – Cotation 3 .

The father looks very nice. :D I can't see much of the mother, but she looks very dark. If you are showing in FCI in the future, don't forget to get stripes on your puppy. ;) They don't like the very dark, almost black dogs.

Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.

Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!

I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences.
