Tell us about yourself: Had a GSD, am getting a DS puppy in a few weeks. Compete in agility, obedience, and cross train in tons of stuff. Found out about this site from the DS Rescue yahoo list.

Double Check Signature Lines??

It's so cool that our group is growing...so many new members, and from far and wide. I love it.

I'd just like to make a gentle request that everyone double check and make sure you've got your real name in a signature line...please? First name only is fine with me, but so many of the screen names are meaningless and it makes it difficult to know if you're talking to a man or woman or robot :mrgreen: .

The User Control Panel is your friend! :stickman:

and, Happy New Year to everyone and all the DSs and other critters we live with and love...

Tell us about yourself: I am in New York State. Got my first DS about 14 years ago (more or less as a rescue- lost her in Nov.). After years of GSD's, and a few dogs of other breeds (Rotti/Beauceron/Ger. Shorthaired Pointer/ Yorkie and my current Jack Russell) I now have another DS, 4mo female, no name yet, tho I have a few in mind.
Also have a horse-old quarter horse mare-32.
Can't wait for all the snow to get gone! Spring is coming too slow this year!

I also enjoy it when folks add what state they're from in the Location line. They don't have to put down the town, but that's nice too. Could make for some DS functions among members who are close enough to each other. (Unfortunatly I'm stuck up here in the Adirondacks all by myself).

Tell us about yourself: I am a mom of 6 life forces - 2 kids and 3 dogs 1 hamster. I live in Ct. I have trained Ringsport and Agility and have 2 DS, one 15 and 7 and a Basset Hound Cookie who is 2

Good Idea, I was thinking that it would be great to get together. I know many of us are far away and have large bodies of water in between too, Although, Thalie and Marco are set up to swim now.

Yeah, we should throw a pool party for the beasts, with snorkel, purple sunglasses and all :wtg: :dsshock:

your all welcome to my pool !! Maybe Sadie will go in then, but I know she wont let me put the purple sunglasses on, She may be more the snorkel type like Marco.

Yes, you're right. It is a plus to understand where someone is located. 8-)
I am on some board, somewhere, where there the system can map you, literally, by simply adding your address (anonymously). I need to see if I can find it, but it is a very cool feature, that shows you where the members are coming from. :yeah:

This map-thing is downloadable at the PHP site Judith, Eric must be able to fix that :whistle:
