Tell us about yourself: I like Dutch Shepherddogs, especially the roughcoat. At the moment we have three dogs, two DS (one female who is 10 years and one male who is six months) and one male Laekenois at the age of three. We live in the north of The Netherlands.

The day before yesterday I took the dogs out for a long walk in the Nat. Park in our backyard, it was really nice weather so I decided to take the camera with me oncemore. This was the result:

All of this used to be seebottom. That was before 1969:

So nice! Glad you brought the camera. You are surrounded by beauty (and not just the dogs!).

So, do your dogs race? Whenever I take the dogs for a run at the park, they compete to see who is the fastest. It was okay before I got Boaz. But Boaz is so fast that Balto and Boaz race too far away. They are getting better and staying closer. If I keep Balto (Laeken) on a leash for 10 minutes, it slows everybody down.

Tell us about yourself: I am in New York State. Got my first DS about 14 years ago (more or less as a rescue- lost her in Nov.). After years of GSD's, and a few dogs of other breeds (Rotti/Beauceron/Ger. Shorthaired Pointer/ Yorkie and my current Jack Russell) I now have another DS, 4mo female, no name yet, tho I have a few in mind.
Also have a horse-old quarter horse mare-32.
Can't wait for all the snow to get gone! Spring is coming too slow this year!

Tell us about yourself: Had a GSD, am getting a DS puppy in a few weeks. Compete in agility, obedience, and cross train in tons of stuff. Found out about this site from the DS Rescue yahoo list.

Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.

Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!

I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences.

Syracuse, New York area, where I live, is known for having about 60 days of sunny, blue skies a year and being the snow capitol of the states with much lake effect. yippee. Then in my village, which is protected swamp, we live in mud.

Tell us about yourself: I live in Metro-West Boston with my husband and our rescued Dutch Shepherd, Minnie. She loves anything involving activity. Our first rescued DS, Kaya, loved to tug. Our second rescued DS (who actually turned out to be a GSDx), Marley, loved to nap. I volunteer for the North American Dutch Shepherd Rescue and am a member of the NADSR BOD.
