Hi,
I noticed that we have a good selection of catagories under the activities section but wondered if a tracking forum would be useful.
We have a few members that do SchH and/or SAR.
Might be nice to have a spot to talk about training problems/tips/brags etc

Tell us about yourself: Greetings from Wisconsin. I live on a small goat farm with a crazy Malinois, named Rocket, that I adopted 5 years ago. I rent the goats out for weed and brush control and Rocket saves me hours a day, herding goats into barns and trailers and watching the gates as I move between pens. He also pulls a little red sled with whatever I need hauled. Rocket's the 14th dog I've adopted since I used to prowl the shelters for fast dogs for my sled team. One of my sled dogs may have been a DS mix. She had the look and energy but was a solid black with white toes. Rocket is currently an only dog so we go skijoring instead of sledding.

I have several years of experience training and running sled dogs. I also work my dog in harness as a helper on the farm. I've seen several posts that would be related to harness training. And I would be happy to post how-to information.

Took me a while to get this one done.

There are now three new sub-forums under Activities>Protection Sports

- Tracking
- Obedience
- Protection

Please use the new forums for issues related specifically to those phases and use the general Protection Sports for the more general questions. If there is another sub-forum you feel is needed please PM me.
