Not quite sure?!
Hello all! We just recently adopted Abner from a local shelter. Much to our surprise and confusion he was listed as being a hound/mix????? really don't know how they came up with that one! He is 13 mo. old (was in the shelter for approx. 4 mo.) and was brought in extremely underweight and a stray! After searching different breeds/mixes, my husband and I are pretty sure he is a Dutch Shepherd! He stands about 20 inches (he wasn't very cooperative at the time) floor to withers and is about 55 lbs. (give or take). I know that his ears don't stand, but read that that could be from the malnutrition. Any input would be extremely helpful!!! Whether or not he is a Dutchie, we will love him just the same! Thanks - Jamelyn

Re: Not quite sure?!
the brindle can be from many different breeds. From the first picture, the first breed that came to mind was Rottweiler.

Hislily,
The DNA test will not help much when it comes to Dutch Shepherds.
...
From the pictures you have posted there is no Dutch Shepherd - or - minimal mix.
