- Tell us about yourself: Hello I am a working dog fan. I have been training dogs for 20 years as a hobby. I cut my teeth on GSD's and they will always have a special place in my heart. However I graduated to Mals and Dutchies because their temperament and drive standards were better suited for me as a handler/trainer. I have worked in SAR, FEMA, Protection, and detection. I currently have a 3 year old female Dutch named Ziva.

Pups first time tugging on spring pole.

Pups introduced to swing. Will be raised incrementally to challenge the pups each day. They were not happy after waking up inside and going out to kennel in five degree weather.

Five weeks old and hoping they make it to six weeks on this death trap. First time looked good but more than 2 pups at a time and it can get kind of sketchy. Or if mom is out goofing off and comes over and jumps on pups go flying.

First time seeing this obstacle. I'm using food to try and slow them down. I have two FEMA evaluators, 4 K9 officers and a good friend who was the Task Force Operations manager at the Oklahoma City Bombing come to test the litter on the 20th. All the males and one female are going to K9 homes.

What you can't see in the video is how difficult this course is, the first one became to easy for them. Every step they take something moves and makes noise. My "weakest" pup in the pack is the strongest up here. You will see her climb over one pup at one point. Nobody panics when they lose their footing, they just wait and gather themselves.
