- Tell us about yourself: I live in Metro-West Boston with my husband and our rescued Dutch Shepherd, Minnie. She loves anything involving activity. Our first rescued DS, Kaya, loved to tug. Our second rescued DS (who actually turned out to be a GSDx), Marley, loved to nap. I volunteer for the North American Dutch Shepherd Rescue and am a member of the NADSR BOD.

I just started my BarkBox subscription.simbathedog1 wrote:Anyone done this? Is it worth the money?
A friend of mine has given them a good review, however:
"The toys can be hit or miss for a Dutch (let alone an Army LOL) but we have gotten a few very nice ones that are still intact. And the treats they send are great as they are often small companies so you may not see them elsewhere. I really enjoy the novelty and of course being surprised each month as to what is inside."
I have also heard that you can contact then and have your dog placed on a extreme chewer list and they won't send you easily destructible toys.
