Facebook page.Howdy guys. I'm a long time dog owner. I grew up in a family that bred Danes and did AKC obedience as a junior. I've always had dogs and trained and competed with horses for the last 20 years. Due to some injuries and finances I no longer have horses.
I'm was really looking for something to fill that void so I adopted a 8 month old Mal/GSD mix with the intention of doing some agility and maybe SAR. My older dog passed a month ago and I've had my eye out for a dog with a little more drive than Sera and a couple weeks ago found an awesome Dutchie in a rescue a couple hours away.
Long story short, I brought him home last night and he is fabulous!
He was bailed out of a shelter and pretty emaciated when they got him. He is still SUPER skinny. He was intact when the shelter picked him up and he has an ear tattoo but the rescue wasn't able to find anything on it. He was fostered by a trainer with Dutchie experience and they put a great foundation on him. He is a major loverboy, really cuddly. I can't wait to start working with him once he's settled in!
