Do puppies grow in length first?
My puppy ( 7 months) seems to be growing longer than growing taller. What is the proportion of height versus length in a shepherd? I've seen pictures in which they look really long and skinny:DSlove:

It could depend on his body type. Sadie is tall and lean and Thaile is shorter and stocky

Thanks, my impression is that he is growing in length now.Both of your dogs are very good-looking.
