My girlfriend and I finally finalized our adoption of a mix breed from Texas! I'm trying to get some hints as to her breed before we get her so I can make sure to take care of her properly.
The rescue agency said Plott Hound mix, but from my research she seems to have a lot of Dutch Shepherd characteristics. Even from the description we got rescue mentioned how quickly she took up training, and how motivated she was to please.
I figured I would ask the experts here though to make sure I'm not clouding my own judgment. Definitely going to get a dna test to make sure, but especially if she's a ds I want to make sure she has adequate stimulation.
Already adopted, looking for training tips before she arrives!
