Registration question too tough?

Post by Jean512 »

When I wanted to join this forum, I had a hard time answering the spam-reduction question about what the Dutch shepherd is called in Holland. After a lot of searching and getting temporarily locked out for too many guesses, Google finally showed a public post in the Facebook group (I'm not on Facebook anymore, too invasive) where someone said the right answer. Just a little different from some of my guesses. Maybe the question could be easier in case some less stubborn visitors are giving up on registration?

I was really enjoying the fact that the question did a 100% job of keeping the bots and spam out.

However, I have changed the Q&A.

What is the capital of the place where Dutch Shepherds originate from - (Capitalized properly)?

That didn't take long :eew:

New question was too easy, so the bots slammed me with spam

Changed it again - I hope I fixed it.
