What is up with that "luchtkussenboot" sentence Eric?? Do you actually mean to say inflatable boat? It that case "opblaasboot" is better
And why the hell is it stuffed with slippery juccie fischies??

My hovercraft is full of eels.
or from what I'm told more literally "my air cushion boat is full of eels."
...it's a goofy phrase that I learned a long time ago. Not even sure when, where or how I learned it.

What???? I just assumed that Dutch line was a translation of the line above it. That's so boring then. There's nothing to make fun of if you MEANT to say it.icvanstra wrote:My hovercraft is full of eels.

Okay...I'll put up the first photo. Judith, I know you have some. Something tells me that our Dutch friends on the board probably have some as well!

My photobucket is so slow.
Uploading anything takes a good long while, but I agree that the submissions s*ck so far.
So I guess I will have to suffer through photobucket later this week.

Eric, I can't even get a decent shot of Geyser...she dives at the camera whenever I try, or else, she's doing something on the floor/ground and it's pretty boring to look at (except for me, of courseicvanstra wrote:No other photo's this month???

Give the beast an orange toy, that might do the trick.leih merigian wrote: Eric, I can't even get a decent shot of Geyser...she dives at the camera whenever I try, or else, she's doing something on the floor/ground and it's pretty boring to look at (except for me, of course)

I had a brindle that had an orange ball with little feet and little horns. It was by far his favorite, and he looked pretty cute holding it. Wondering if I still have a pic of that, somewhere.....

Vada's first born was an orange football squeaky toy thing. She use to have false pregnancies. I don't think I ever got a pic of it though.

ok, well, Ivil hates Eric now, but hey, anything for the photocontest....

and this one is a message to Eric from Ivil, not for the competition

The eyes say it all... you're lucky to live on the other side of the big lake Eric!!
Ivil is VERY insulted...
{edit} can't get them to rotate.... sorry, bend your necks

Re: August 2010 Photo Contest - Oranje
So this is a wiener dog?
The logo on the attire says "unox" which is a brand name like Oscar Meyer over here. Sausage and wieners.
@ Marjolein: dachshunds (teckel) here are often called wiener dogs, because they resemble...well...a wiener
