Autumn colours

Post by Marjolein »

Last week I layed out a track for Dingo, it had to "rest for a while", so I usually walk for a bit. There was a nice rainbow behind me, so I picked up my camera:

Ah, and under the rainbow is...

Image
"Dingo, APPORT!"
Truth is, this dog is smarter than I am :? What makes a rainbow? Sun and...oh yeah, rain. And that sky doesn't look like it's going to b just a drizzle. My car is parked where the farm was in the pic above...in this pic Dingo just decided to run for the car like a maniac. mmmh???
10 seconds later I was running the same way as fast as I could, being hit by hail and rain, ending up soaked and beat in the car. Stupid!!

and we hiked last week:

Beautiful pics, that story is so funny! My mom had a lab that would hide in the closet when bad weather was about to happen, smart puppies!

What beautiful pictures! When you lay a trail, do you put something at the end for them to find?

When Xena digs up her nasty bones and brings them in, we know we are in for some heavy rains!

Beautiful Marjolein. And remember this; always rely on your dogs instinct. Did you find the pot of gold at the end of this rainbow by the way? :D

No gold, eh? (In the pot at the end of the rainbow). Gorgeous photos, subject matter always a big plus!! Dutchies in those settings, nothing compares to that awesomeness (?such a word?). Love love it!!
