Of course, though, Dingo is only assuming that while he's getting dried off that you prefer a bath. Perhaps it's assumptive quid pro quo.

Merlin and I were outside today enjoying the sunshine and he was sitting on my lap and started to nibble my arm! Its the first time he has ever done it to me! He was looking up at me with those beautiful eyes like," Does that spot itch, do you like that?"

As much as a beast as Thor was (and still can be), one of the first things he learned was when coming inside: STOP on the rug inside the door for a wipe down...front/back feet, legs and belly. Not a big fan, but he got over it.

Putting my right hand out means I want his left paw and vica-versa. If I put my right hand out toward his right paw after I've done his left, he still offers the left. ("Mom, I don't think this is right, but I'm just following the rules.")

When I straighten up after doing the front paws, he knows it's time to lie down and roll on his side to get his back feet and maybe his legs and belly done. And he stays on his side until he's released. My boy!

When Sugar comes in when its wet, she knows to go right to the towel on the floor for me to dry her off. Its super cute when I get to the back legs and need dry underneath she nicely spreads and or lifts her legs for me, all the while looking at me with those brown eyes patiently waiting for it to be all done.

Nibbling? Now that is a new concept to me. Never had any of my dogs do that before in all of my 50+ years in dogs. Humm?? Have had some lickers but never any of the GSDs, just a couple of the old Chi's were lickers. Learn something new all the time on here.
