Oh my goodness! That is just too much! How excited the owners must be to see reports of their babies growing! I know that I would have loved to have a record of my girls early weeks!

- Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.
Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!
I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences. - Location: Victoria BC

- Tell us about yourself: I am in New York State. Got my first DS about 14 years ago (more or less as a rescue- lost her in Nov.). After years of GSD's, and a few dogs of other breeds (Rotti/Beauceron/Ger. Shorthaired Pointer/ Yorkie and my current Jack Russell) I now have another DS, 4mo female, no name yet, tho I have a few in mind.
Also have a horse-old quarter horse mare-32.

The lying down pup is the fat blue one, the green one is next to him, to the right. He is usually the one not co-operating, walking around while everyone sleeps, and he likes to sleep alone sometimes...I tend to like ones like that too

I love how you've got "bookends" of the two "most behaved" pups on either end, then you've got "I've picked up a scent" pup, next to "I'm not sure about this photo shoot" pup, next to "I agree with you, think we otta make a run for it?" pup, next to "well, I can take them on if you want" pup next to "oh brother, just go with it" pup.Marjolein wrote:

- Tell us about yourself: Dogs are my life, what can I say. GSDs primarily for nearly 50 years til bringing in my first DutchShep about 4 years ago. GSD rescue for 9 yrs, nearly 200 thru my home, rehabbed, adopted out. Been involved in AKC ob, herding, tracking, agility; Schutzhund-DVG; scent detection (HR-water)&narcotics, some patrol work. Mostly herding training at present on my little farm.

I like the three who appear to be non-conformists. The one on the end-right...something about him/her I like, too...it's like he/she is conforming to the process but is thinking of other agendas with true resolve. (This is horse s***, but one day I'll become dictator so this moment doesn't matter...if only they knew....)

- Tell us about yourself: Rescued my DS in 2007 off a 6 lane highway in rush hour, he has been the best & most amazing family dog. He was someones throwaway, which I will never understandt. He has sold us on the DS and we could not imagine life without him. What a kind, funny, gentle, protective and loving dog! He loves everyone in the family and would sacrifice his life for any of us he clearly feels my husband is 'his' person. We also own a 12 yo GSD mix who was someones back yard breeding 'bank'. I got her at 6 weeks and her eyes were still blue (she was my first dog and I did not know that was too early to take her when the breeder sent her home w/me). She is loyal and utterly devoted to me alone. We are always keeping our eyes open for DS and GSD rescues that may need new homes. Because the DS isn't a well known breed we are forever educating people about the merits and joys of owning one. Very glad to have found a place where they are appreciated!

- Tell us about yourself: I'm Ron and i have 1 LH bitch called Amirah Veunis for Son Dog, but we call her Saartje.
We also had her dad, Kobus van Oscarli (He was on the calander 3 years ago, in the flowers), but he passed away in 2009 my friend.
I'm more a reader instead of a poster, but now and then you will see some pictures of me, right J.
