New to DS's, but not new to high drive working dogs. :) Currently have a 1 1/2 yr old DS, Koenig, and a 2 yr old English Pointer Sara. They are both rescues. - Tell us about yourself: I am "Mom" to a beautiful Brindle, female Dutch Shepherd, Balen. Unofficially, I like also to spell her name as Baylin. Baylin is such a special companion. She loves to play ball, go for hikes, rides in the truck, and to have her belly rubbed. I enjoy photography and Baylin is my favorite subject to photograph! I enjoy the simple pleasures in life...friends, faith, and family...and my dog.

Help! I'm brand new to this! I'd like to enter I photo into the December holiday contest. My pictures are all in my IPhone, which is also how I am accessing this site...can someone walk me through what to do? Thanks!

There is some information on posting pictures in the FAQ area. I am not sure how to do it from an iPhone though. I think you have to upload it to a photo hosting site (photobucket, shutterfly..etc) - and then get a URL from there. It may have to wait until you are near your laptop or desktop. But Eric said he was going to leave this open for a few extra days to accomidate New Year's pictures.
Once you are on your main computer, take a minute to introduce yourself and your completely gorgeous, intelligent, perfect DS (ooops, I may be partial

Since writing up those instructions in the FAQ section ...
We have also opened up the ability to upload photo's directly to the forum.
When you write a post look below and to the left of the SUBMIT button and you will see a tab for "upload attachment." Once uploaded you can put the image into the message.
Size restrictions for the uploaded photo's are the same or smaller as for linked photo's.

Moi? Photo's?
I have a cute one, somewhere, but it has a malinois pup in it. Not sure if I want to admit to having (had) malinois in my life?
But if the contest stays open until the 31st, let me see what I can come up with.

Hey Eric...help!
Me and photos...I was truing to upload a picture--resized it like I have done in the past with my scanner photo editing program--about 600 x 399, 72dpi--and uploaded it to photobucket--an hour-long process on dial-up lol. When I preview I keep getting "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image." I did three different resizes (even smaller) and uploads/posts. Any clue what I am doing wrong? I am just sticking the URL in between the two img brackets.
