Mustang went to visit a friend's carpenter shop today and then to an outdoor dining spot for lunch.
He did great until they closed the big roll down door. He seems to be really fearful of certain noises.
He was a perfect gentleman at the restaurant.
My wife stopped at the vet to pickup hi flea and tick meds, because it was nearby. She asked them to weigh him.
He's only 41 pounds, but he photos larger. My wife calls him a mini and is thankful she can easily handle him.

Wow, he looks so much bigger than 41lbs in pictures.
Glad he's doing to well.

Found another possible sibling of Mustang through Embark...
Brindle was rescued from a shelter in Atlanta just like Mustang and shares 53% of Mustang's DNA.
I sent a chat to Brindle's owner thru Embark to find out more about him.

Mustang gotcha day is here. 1 year later, and the challenge of rescue persists.
I know the potential of this breed, but I embrace the imperfections of abused, abandoned, and mistreated dogs.
Every day is a new progression and a new setback.
I wouldn't trade it for the world.
