The theme for January 2012 is:
EN: reward
NL: beloning (sorry...I'm not sure if this is a good translation -- let me know)
...
The usual rules:
1) please submit one photo
2) you must have rights to the photo that you submit
3) please put the dog's name in your post
4) contest will be open until the around the end of the month ... voting will begin sometime after that.
Going to stress rule #3!

Getting the sleeve? Expectation of reward (eyes bulged, body stiffened/shaking)? Chicken feathers peeking out from their lips? Seems like most any photo could fit because you don't have the "before reward" to go with it. I wonder if Eric was inspired by this theme because has THEE perfect reward shot.

You know...this one was really hard, but I have settled on this one...
BUT, it was difficult to not choose either of these (file under "anticipation of reward)...
(said a friend of mine, "It looks like they want to eat the camera!)
(here's an outtake from the "4DS photo shoot")
(hope someone comes up with one with feathers, tho)

For fun only...
This was my girl's first birthday treat. She went to the farthest corner of the yard to munch on it. Didn't take her long at all. She's very dainty with her food, and chews well.
