Hokamix - it's an herbal supplement made in NL. I was able to get hold of one, once, and Marco went crazy over it, licking even the outside of the package. But it is very difficult to get it here in the US.

May be the Dutch folks on here, do you have any feedback or experience with this supplement? Is it worth to go through much trouble to get it?
Having used only one package, I can say only, the dogs really liked it but I can't tell any longterm health benefit.

I used that product years ago, for several years, with my GSD. Eventually, I stopped buying it, as we had to cut down on expenses, and I didn't notice any difference when not feeding it. Her breeders swore by it, tho.

I was referring to the original mix with 30 herbs.
I think I ordered from naturmix the first time then I tried again and it was on backorder for the longest time. I tried doggiefood.com, he claimed he was the sole importer of the product but the order was on back order too and I gave up on the product.
The review was helpful. At least nothing bad happened with longtime use

Herbs are very powerful and might have had a good effect well after you quit using it. Who knows......

Who knows? MY GSDs breeders just loved it, and maybe they saw a difference between the litters raised with and without it? OTOH, they sell it

(who, me, skeptical?)
I just use a mix of kelp and alfalfa and know that all the vitamins and many other micro nutrients are covered. (I know how individual and personal food/nutrition decisions are for our canine family members; this is just my own decision and I wouldn't begin to pretend it's the only way to go).
I've always heard great things about Missing LInk. I tend to like things that are also recommended for human consumption

We use right now Solid Gold's Seameal. It's around for a while and the Labs did well on it. But I like to switch and always look around what else is out there. I think variety is important.
The breeder selling it. Yes that would make me suspicious too
