Patience

Here is Dakota waiting patiently for Odin to either give her his antler or walk away from it. BTW, she does have one, but she wants everything he has

He is sweet about it too - he gives her a signal (which I don't see) when she is allowed to take it from him and not before.

how cute! Yep, I have a bunch of antlers around but they both want the same one.

It's amazing how well they get along just after such a short time. Human kids would be more difficult.

Thus far, there have been only 2 times that Odin really unleashed on her and had to be pulled off. But, in his defense, she antagonized him. She doesn't do that anymore. He is so easy going with her and with his chew toys. Oh, did I mention that Dakota can be very snarky........
But, yes, they do get along rather well. I was worried before we got him, but the minute she set eyes on him, it was love
at first sight!!
