Mercedes and Dante

Here is Mercedes at 4 months and Dante at 2.5 years old. Don't poke fun of Dante's horrible hairdo. He's been going to the woods a bunch with me, and he keeps getting sap all over him. So, I trimmed a sort of Mohawk on him one day.

They loved it. Dante loved it because we brought his frisbee. And what's better than the beach? Frisbee at the beach. It was Mercedes's first time. She went back on a leash right after this photo. She tears into Dante whenever he returns things for fetch. Plus, there were occasionally people around, and a dying gull nearby. But, she loves being near us, so it went naturally.
