We did our longest hike so far in Geyser's life...2.5 hours, and on such a gorgeous trail. We are way behind in rainfall so far this year (once again), so the river was down and we were able to cross it three times.

I swear, this little girl is part mountain goat! She'll scale hills that seem near vertical, and climbs on everything, walking across logs suspended over water without a second thought (of her own accord, mind you).

I don't have the patience to deal with too many pictures (took a ton that day), but here are a couple...

They do love the trails, my girl climbs up and down the steepest rocks! What a beautiful face !!!

Nice to have that forest close by! She is turning into a good looking young lady!
And yes, DS's tend to have 4paw drive. I have seen them navigate walls, slopes and ravines that I would not even venture with a rope.And I have one missing in VA still, with continued sightings, by now with buns of steel, no doubt, from navigating that kind of terrain.

I am so sorry that little stinker is still missing, but so glad to hear there are continued sightings! I'll bet her whole body is hard as rock...

Yes...she does have large 'uns! Coming from the GSD world, it doesn't bother me a bit
