- Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.
Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!
I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences. - Location: Victoria BC

Your little lump of Sugar still has puppy frog legs. Very cute girl.

Oh gracious! Sugar is named well! That's just about the sweetest pup I have ever seen.
Totally adorable.

I have adults that still stretch like that, but yes, I agree that it is always a funny sight.Raven wrote:Your little lump of Sugar still has puppy frog legs. Very cute girl.

Her tail has a kink in it; she came with a broken tail. Considered calling her kinky, but thought better of it ; )

Sue,
Are the two photo's above the ones you uploaded?
I found them "orphaned" which means they were uploaded but not put into a post (and other reasons). When uploading a photo you have to click on the "place inline" button ... you can add text to the photo at the same time.

Nope, not my photos.
Here's another one of my baby the first day home after getting her broken leg fixed. She broke it at 6 months old
when running around on the piled up drifwood at the beach. Splint is off now, and we're working on getting her back to her regular amount of exercise.

And here she is with a shirt on to keep her from licking at her bandage. Could you imagine her with a cast AND a cone?

Eric,
The orphaned photos you found I saw posted awhile back (couple weeks ago?) in another post.

That sad look of Sugar in her sweater is so sweet that I would love to hug the little thing.
Most aptly named pup! I hope her leg is healing well.
