It seems like there's a national "day" for every day of the calendar. I don't pay much attention to them, but this is one oddball day that I can appreciate! I know I've been rather quiet, but life has taken me by storm and I've been preoccupied with tackling Nami's exposure to the world. Here are some obligatory photos! (Psssst, post yours if you have any ^_~ )







*I have an old playset in my backyard that was here when I moved in. I have no idea where the nuts and bolts are to put it together, so it sorta just rots back there. I had planned to use what I could to make an awesome chicken coop or cat tower and throwing the rest out, but it looks like I may be putting some of those pieces to other use!

Heheheh. On the last shot I thought how ornate it was for an a-frame--and sort of short and steep yet without any rungs! Oh........play set roof. Nice recycling.

How's she been doing out in the real world?

wow.. I thought the same thing, what an awesome A-frame, who built that.. (all fancy like) I used an old play house as a chicken coup-it's awesome.

in addition to all the other 'awesome features" glowing eyes cost more.

How's she been doing out in the real world?

There are so many bits and pieces in that pile that I can fashion together to make more obstacle course-like objects! I just need assistance getting it all out because I'm on the puny side and she is doing amazing! I can finally take her around the neighborhood without her freaking out on the leash. She's got the obedience down, and she heels nicely for me if there aren't any major distractions (If we come up on people she slows WAY down and her pace is down to a creep.) She doesn't balk or stoop anymore when we get closer, but she wont hold a tight heel either unless I reduce my pace to match hers. She's getting better though. With crowds, I'm still experimenting with the local park and the ice cream hang out. School's in session so the neighborhood park is less crowded during the AM hours. I've been taking her there and exploring the playground set if no children are present, and if there are we just work on OB on the benches and tables that are off to the side. I still haven't tried any public outings like a petstore or pet friendly dining establishment, but I feel like if I were to do something like that I may end up causing her to take 2 steps backwards in her progression. I want to soooo badly, but baby steps! I'm forcing myself to do baby steps.
