Is This The Same Dog

I was going through pictures this evening because my phone was completely overloaded. And wow!!!! I think someone switched dogs on me somewhere along the way. I couldn't believe how much Xander has changed in 2 1/2 years. I know all pups grow up, get bigger, change shape a little, but really Xander looks nothing like he did when I got him. He has grown into a handsome boy.

He really is very handsome.
Looking through photos I like seeing how the puppy face gradually changes, then one day, BAM, puppy-face gone somewhere around two.

Aren't ds puppies just the cutest ... yiu know, when they aren't biting and distorting stuff !!! I noticed the soft toy in the last pic. Xander doesn't distroy the toys?

As a puppy he would destroy a soft toy in about 30 seconds.
The toy in the pic is "gator". As a grown up he knows how to play with gator and doesn't tear it up. He knows if he starts ripping and pulling it goes back in the toy box. Plus gator is actually a pretty rugged soft toy. He mostly chops it to make it squeek, slings it across the room, pounces on it like a cat, picks it up and shakes his head vigorously back and forth....and then starts all over. It amuses me as much as it does him.

It's truly amazing how much they change. I guess I didn't really notice it as much until I started comparing pics.

Thor, too. We never have to throw toys out because of destruction, which explains multiple toy boxes around the house and toy rotations. (He LOVES to see the one toy box we keep squirreled away; he gets to nose through and pick out his "new" toys.) His Kong treat dispensers we have to replace, but not toys unless they've gotten worn from age and play.
Nice to see you and Xander peeking back in! Missed ya.

Ohhhh Xander's sooooo nosey when I open the toy box. He gets so excited he can't stand still.
