My puppy ( 7 months) seems to be growing longer than growing taller. What is the proportion of height versus length in a shepherd? I've seen pictures in which they look really long and skinny:DSlove:

It could depend on his body type. Sadie is tall and lean and Thaile is shorter and stocky
