We took a stroll through the forest to play at the boat ramp behind our house. Some of you might remember my worry that he was so adverse to water, hated the pool, baths, the hose, and rain. I thought it was life's big joke that I named a dog that hates water Kapena which is "Captain" in Hawaiian. But guess what! He just needed to do a little growing! I'm glad we didn't force him, it's great watching him build his confidence! He had a blast digging in the sand, too!

Awesome! I thought your last still shot caught his emotional state pretty well! My Shiloh shep. plows her head under water( like Kapena did to the sand), splashes up, then bites at the splashes! En(now 2) just finally agreed to go in deep enough to get her but wet.
