This is my partner, K9 Taz. He's a narcotics/tracking K9 in central Indiana. He was a rescue, so we don't have any history on him, but he's a fantastic worker and friend. He does have a Facebook page if you want to see more of him. (Don't want to flood the thread with pics lol)

I was thinking about your introduction, and I am curious. Did you rescue with the intention to have a K9 partner? I've seen the NADSR promote rescues that went on to become police dogs.

Yes, my intention was to have him as my K9 partner when he was picked. He was bounced from place to place because of his high drive. The last owner kept him on a chain outside because his drive was so extreme.
He was exactly what I was looking for. He has become not only an amazing narcotics k9, but an amazing best friend. He’s an indoor dog now living the good life.
He does have a Facebook page as well,

Wow he’s handsome!!!! I was trying to put the K9 and weed patch together in my head. I know it’s legal now...... but I know that’s not it. I “ got it” after r adding that he is a narcotics K9.
I’m glad he was reduced. The original owner needs to be chained up for not doing his homework and figuring out how to work with this breed.
Nice to meet you.
