For this month, June 2011, please submit a photo that you think most fits the theme: The Look

NL: Afbeelding De Hollandse Herder blik

...this month I snagged the theme from the NL site contest from a few months ago...

The usual rules:
1) please submit one photo
2) you must have rights to the photo that you submit
3) please put the dog's name in your post
4) contest will be open until the around the end of the month ... voting will begin sometime after that.

you sneaky little thief! In France they did the same! Now I can just submit the pic I used in both Holland and France

that is part of the fun for these contests... First you have to try and figure out what the theme means and then spend time looking for the photo (or creating a new one)!!

Assuming that's in Dutch, and not knowing any of that language, I thought perhaps I was missing out on some nuance of whatever you guys mean by The Look. Some of these contests have been pretty darn specific on what you're actually looking for.

...not sure how that exactly translates...who know, I could have copied over profanity... I just copied the text from the NL website.

I believe this would be the 'look' of the DS. At least my DS!




Honestly, I had a hard time choosing between the intense eyes of this picture, or a picture of focused heeling. I like this one though.

Liturally it means "The Dutch Shepherd look" , so a specific look for this breed, whatever that is :dswink"

Sasha has this crazy look when you're holding a tennis ball and she REALLY wants it.......she'll bare her teeth and make these little bites....I tried to get a photo today but between her moving and me laughing, I haven't gotten it yet!!
