Hydration study

I thought this was pretty interesting. It's a comparison of water, chicken flavored Gatorade, and subcutaneous fluid and how they affect the dogs.

If I understand the result correctly, hydration strategy did not affect the work. The dogs liked the flavored electrolyte solution best, and none of the hydration strategies had a bad effect.
Did anyone else read it differently?
