We had a nice day

Post by Marjolein »

Thursday we had a day off, and made it a fun-day. Slept in late, fiddeld around in the garden. Dingo had been wining half an hour that he wanted to play with his jolly-ball, and finally he could  Unfortunately Ivil came along, and she took over about 2 weeks ago and is back in charge... so she claimed his ball :dsshock: Out of pure frustration Dingo produced a very high pitched bark, as if he ws saying "it was MY ball first!" Here's what followed:

Image
It's mine Dingo! "Oh come on! b*tch!"

Image
Nope, all mine :dsrazz:

Image
Allright, just a sec Dingo.

Image
What? You qanna play with me?? :dsshock: Cool!

Let's go!

Tell us about yourself: Lifelong animal person- I professionally trained horses before my children were born. New to DS's, but not new to high drive working dogs. :) Currently have a 1 1/2 yr old DS, Koenig, and a 2 yr old English Pointer Sara. They are both rescues. Oh yes, I work at a multi species non-profit animal rescue, on Bainbridge Island, WA

Want to know anything else, just ask!

Tell us about yourself: I am in New York State. Got my first DS about 14 years ago (more or less as a rescue- lost her in Nov.). After years of GSD's, and a few dogs of other breeds (Rotti/Beauceron/Ger. Shorthaired Pointer/ Yorkie and my current Jack Russell) I now have another DS, 4mo female, no name yet, tho I have a few in mind.
Also have a horse-old quarter horse mare-32.
Can't wait for all the snow to get gone! Spring is coming too slow this year!
Location: Corinth, New York

Tell us about yourself: I like Dutch Shepherddogs, especially the roughcoat. At the moment we have three dogs, two DS (one female who is 10 years and one male who is six months) and one male Laekenois at the age of three. We live in the north of The Netherlands.

Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.

Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!

I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences.

ehm, it looks painfull sometimes, but they don't seem to mind :D Ivil broke a leg when she was young during play like this, they are really fast! Now I slow them down if necessary by stopping it. And they are both a bit older and a tiny bit wiser
