Brindle is a 1 year old Dutch Shepherd mix who was rescued after being hit by a car on the streets of Houston. Fortunately, he only suffered a simple break. His leg has nearly healed now, and he is looking for a forever home.
He is a sweet and loving dog, and he is eager to get off crate rest and out into the world! He is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and will be neutered. He is a young dog with many puppy traits, but it is clear that he was abused by someone because he will cower depending on how you approach him. He is a very sweet soul and would do well in a home with older kids to play with. He likes to jump and play, so he might not be the best fit for very small children. He gets along with other dogs, but has not been cat tested.
He is available through Rescue Lane. Depending on where you live, free ground transportation is often available throughout the USA. For more remote destinations, dogs can be flown via an appropriate airline.
