She seems to be a submissive pup. Research temperament testing and you will get more insight into what type of pup you might be getting. A submissive pup will let you be the pack leader and is usually a biddable dog wanting to please. Hopefully, she has prey and hunt drives that will give her the right to be called a Dutch Shepherd.

Strong hunt and prey drive is a good thing and you can use these drives to mold the behavior of your dog. These are inherent traits of the Dutch Shepherd.

A relaxed pup doesn’t translate into an obedient dog. An obedient pup comes from you the owner. Fortunately the Dutch Shepherd is highly intelligent and eager to please. Even the unruly ones can learn what their master wants from them through a consistent knowledgeable approach...

Not sure what you mean here. My Thalie had a low prey drive but was from champion lines and was the best dog. She out did harder dogs in Ring sport. Drive does not = DS.

What are you looking to do with this dog. This is not a dog for just anyone. They will get frustrated because they are super smart and learn fast and if you are not up to their speed, it will land you a bite if you are not careful. They do not understand the concept of learning at their own pace, that is a human idea. Dogs learn how you teach them and will try very hard, and if you are not giving clear commands they will get frustrated, they will not sit back and wait for you to get it.

you do not flip the switch, they do and they will do it faster than you have ever seen.

Drives are the foundation of a working dog

She was a working dog, and was better than many high drive dogs. Different amount of drives does not lessen the foundation of the dog. This breed is a working breed with a variation id the drive, that does not make one less or more of a working dog.
