Only had one shedding session in 15 months which wasn’t that bad, I did read a raw diet reduces shedding. Jay

Ah, having come from Dalmatians, I've been so glad Bramble does not really shed much.....with Dals there are two shed seasons: Shed and More Shed. Plus, it's barbed, so every lining, hem or pocket in my clothes had fur in it. It's nice to wear black, and not black with whites hairs.

you think you have it bad ?? Try having a Basset Hound, they make DS's shedding like nothing

And, um, don't they kind of smell, like Airdales?

yes, they are a bit stinky if you dont maintain them

I have one wolf looking male Dutch Shepherd with long fur, one short coat female Dutch Shepherd, and one really short coat female Malinois. The wolf DS has more fur on his tail than the other two combined. He leaves tumbling balls of hair throughout the house if I don't brush him once a week and sweep the floors three times a week. In the winter he'll grow a ridiculous long coat, five inch long fur on the back of his legs, his chest and neck area- then it all sheds off all over the house in the spring. I go through furnace filters at least once every three weeks.
