Earlier today, the forum website started out slow and then eventually became unavailable for a few hours.

I have received notification from the site's hosting provider that the server we are hosted on came under what is known as DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack.

This is the best definition I could find for DDOS:
https://www.cloudflare.com wrote:A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack is a malicious attempt to disrupt normal traffic of a targeted server, service or network by overwhelming the target or its surrounding infrastructure with a flood of Internet traffic.
Please note that this type of attack is meant to disrupt service, and it is not normally meant to steal private information.

However, in an abundance of caution, I suggest now would be a good time to reset your password.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
