Two High Drive Dogs- One Home

Our family discussed it and we are ready for another dog. We are thinking a Dutch Shepherd. But this would mean potentially two high drive dogs plus Casper in one home. Bramble's dna says she isn't a DS, but her behavior matches DS per two trainers that work primarily with DS and Mal.

We worked hard to direct Bramble's drive toward her job, and curb some of her non service dog behaviors.

So what is it like living with two higher drive dogs (though I'm hoping we could find a lower drive dog.)

My first thought is adding another high drive dog could change Brambles behaviors, maybe for the good but maybe not.........

The relationship between your son and Bramble cannot be jeopardized.

That is true, I can't risk her....but this is all kind of coming down to trying to have an alert dog. We've worked hard to soften Bramble's protective reactions. But we do need a dog that is alert in a way a service dog can't be.
