Sure looks like fun! Guess you hope for smaller dogs when it comes to the backpacking
I LOVE the pic with the puppy and its front paws on the dog's back, peeking over. Very cute!!

Gosh, that looks like fun!

Would love to do something like that in the states. The photos were great, as you always do.

Have the dogs been trained all along with the back pack or whatever it is called or was this the first time for most of the dogs?

It is a harness for abseiling (is that english??)
We used to train for SAR work and these dogs must get used to being transported like this:
But also to lower a dog alone (Dingo in 2009)
Dingo was really trained in this, but Ivil and Juul, and I guess 70% of the dogs were not (total of 100 dogs). Most dogs surrender as soon as their paws are off the ground, thay just hang there, it's like the "puppy-reflex"

that is the funniest thing I have ever seen!! Its good that the dogs surrender to make the rescuers job easier.

Hey, is the adult dog in the photo with the pup climbing on its back a Dutch Shep too? How cool is that lighter coloring!! Never seen one that shade. Interesting.
