Water fun

Post by asheleylane »

Zelda's first time in the water... black floppy eared dog retrieving a "bird" - no, she's not a lab! LOL

Benta is getting back in shape

These are probably going to be huge, so any suggestions would be appreciated to make the photos more user-friendly. I make thumbnails on my website so that they load more quickly, but when I put them here they are automatically huge.

Great photos! Do the ear naturally do that or was it because of the bouncing out of the water?

There are a million different ways to do it...

I use Photoshop LightRoom and when I export photo's that I'm going to put on the internet I normally reduce the quality and make them smaller (around 600 x 400 pixels).

With microsoft's picture viewer you can do the same thing.

My guess is that Zelda's ears are still trying to find their equilibrium, regardless of the water? Cute!
I can only see one ear of the second pic. The rest was cut off ?

Zelda is my puppy, Vrijheid's Griselda. I am very happy to say, the ears have found some equilibrium and decided to stand this week.

Judith, the benta picture comes through great. But it is pretty big in size and on your internet it just may take way too long for it to download.

It looked awesome at work yesterday on my new 24" flat panel. Today I'm on a little laptop screen and part of it is cut off. I can see half of Benta.

Oh? :o My screen will be too small then. It has loaded but it cuts it off right by the dogs right ear.
On some other forums that I am on, there usually is a scroll bar at the bottom. Not here? Is that a setting on the board, or on my computer?

Okay ... I don't plan on fixing every photo...and until I can figure out why the software crops it for those of you with (what I assume are) smaller monitors...

Here is Benta:

Thanks, Eric! What a great picture of my puppy's mom! So glad to have been able to see it.

It's funny, Eric...all the prob...I mean issues I seem to have while on this forum, that you continue to ascribe to my computer (or monitor, etc.), never are issues on other forums I frequent :P . I'm just saying... :rocklicker:

It's the way of an IT guy. The bulk of the issues generally are PEBCAC. :google:

Plus until I can duplicate the problem on my end, it makes if very hard to resolve them.

The dimensions of the photo you posted were larger than the allowed width of the forum. So I have to figure out how to either make the width bigger (which make everyone with smaller screen scroll left/right all time) or install a modification to the board that automatically resizes images. I tried one last night, but it requires everyone who uses the board to clear out all of your cookies/cache/history/etc... looked at another solution but got tired and went to bed. :hic:

Thanks for reworking this picture for this once, Eric.
I now see a dog that has a definate Arras look about the face, something I could not recognize from just the right ear. I will need to visit Asheley's website, and figure out how she is related to my old man. 8-)

Same here. The glitches I encounter on this forum are unique to it. Therefore, it is MY computers fault. :P
And then he wants us to google what PEBCAC means. :yernuts: So rude. :g_wink:

Judith... you don't know this one? It is a very common term. :ugeek:
