Here is my baby Merlin at 3 months old, would never even think he was the same dog as the pics in his introduction..... My family is so happy to have him This morning he and my other dog were outside playing and I walked out with a hoodie sweater( its raining) on and he never saw me. Well ,I started to wonder off to the other side of the yard to look for deer and they never noticed me. I of course never noticed that they didnt notice me. So I start walking back to the house because they had finished their business and Merlin comes to the back door and starts barking. I turn around to see what he is barking at and come to find out, its me. I guess the sweater threw him off. lol His hair was so high on his back that he looked like a hyena. I had heard him bark at our other dog, playing, but had never heard his bark like this. He stood his ground as I walked closer and continued to bark. When I spoke to him he ran to me and started playing as though he was trying to tell me he was sorry. He is becoming an amazing, confident, brindle beast
Tell us about yourself: I am a mom of 6 life forces - 2 kids and 3 dogs 1 hamster. I live in Ct. I have trained Ringsport and Agility and have 2 DS, one 15 and 7 and a Basset Hound Cookie who is 2
Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.
Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!
I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences.
Tell us about yourself: Had a GSD, am getting a DS puppy in a few weeks. Compete in agility, obedience, and cross train in tons of stuff. Found out about this site from the DS Rescue yahoo list.

Tell us about yourself: I am currently the Secretary and Treasurer of the Dutch Shepherd Club of North America. Tell us about yourself: I'm from Poland, I have four dogs: 9,5 y.o. cocker spaniel Sunday, two Pyrenean Shepherds Vigo (7 y.o.) and Brava (almost 3 y.o.) and Dutch Shepherd Eri (3,5 y.o.). We do agility, some frisbee and lots of tricks :).
